A small plastic bag, used to contain a small item but who's specific purpose is a lost memory, is draped upon an aluminum wire structure. The bag was, perhaps, used to contain a component within a larger package, the only remaining kin from a broader suite of packaged products: a cardboard box containing two styrofoam forms protecting a TV, and nested within those styrofoam forms, in a space containing a power cord and the user manual, our plastic bag sheltered a remote. Or did it contain the user manual? Or was it from something else entirely? No matter; it now envelops a single small LED bulb, and diffuses its glow as a humble table lamp.

As with the other lights that feature bent aluminum wire as the structural of the object, the shaky lines of the wires resemble the shaky lines of a quick pencil drawing, a sketch.Imperfect but expressive.It is a direct interplay between the mind with it's idée fixe; the arm, the hand, and the fingers of the body as it attempts to translate the mind's notion into form; and the physical material that works with the body to gently resist the possibly of an easy or direct representation of what the mind envisioned. Flawed but perfect.
