A translucent blue shopping bag loosely drapes around a bent aluminum wire frame reminiscent of a loose sketch of a spherical Akari lantern. In the context of the THANK YOU lamps, this light appears as an in process step towards a final form. However, instead of fitting the plastic bag more tightly to the sketchiness of the metal frame, both the bag and the frame exist distinct from one another, and complimentary to one another. The components become anatomical: the sagging loose skin of the plastic bag hangs upon the skeletal rib cage of the aluminum metal frame, and the solitary bulb glows like a beating heart at the center of its fragile cage.
